Legal secretary in the Ministry of Justice from 1967-69. Part-time lecturer at the University of Copenhagen 1967-1979. Research fellow 1980-1983. Associate professor at the Århus Business School from 1983-86. From 1986 associate and since 1994 full professor at the Law Department, Copenhagen Business School.
Primary fields of research and teaching: EU law, labour law, procurement law, contract law, e-commerce law and legal theory.

Member of the European Commission's Legal Expert Group on the Application of European Law on Equal Treatment between Men and Women. Member of the Danish Equality Complaints Board set up under the Equality Act 2000. Member of the board of the Danish Association for Labour Law. Member of the steering committee for the research collaboration on EU labour law between the National Institute for Working Life in Stockholm, the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration, Hanken and the Law Department. This research network publishes a newsletter on EU labour law.
